My weekend

Last weekend myself and a number of other Slippery Rock students joined the rest of the state of Pennsylvania at Valley Forge for the 2015 PSAHPERD Convention. The was available for anyone in the profession or studying in the fields of Physical Education, Health Education, Recreation, and Dance. Throughout the three days there  were a series of different sessions that pertained to the those fields and new methods on teaching them. Overall it was a great weekend!

SRU Fit Club Flash Spinning

On October 1st during Dr. Brewer and the PHE Fit Club got together and placed 25 spinning bikes outside of the Morrow Field House. Members of Dr. Brewers Classes and members of the PHE Department then mounted their bikes and started Spinning while playing music. Our goal was to have random students walking around campus to hop on a bike and spin for a while with us so that they can get a little bit of extra supersize in for the day. As the day went on the people came past us and some of them did stop to hop on a bike for a bit. Finally at the end of common hour we had a successful workout and got many students to participate.
